Christ's Church in Rwanda (CCR) held its first public service on March 4, 2007. CCR received its provisional registration in June 2006. CCR's registration was gained through the efforts of Dave and Jana Jenkins who were sent by the Quail Springs Church of Christ in June 2005 after 11 years in Uganda followed by one-year at Oklahoma Christian University. This non-denominational, English speaking church sits in one of Kigali's most beautiful communities that was built as part of the government's Vision 2020.
People gather around what was intended as a water fountain for baptisms. The fountain is too expensive to run, but we will spare no expense to see someone accept Christ and be immersed in this ready made space.
