Christ's Church in Rwanda (CCR) held its first public service on March 4, 2007. CCR received its provisional registration in June 2006. CCR's registration was gained through the efforts of Dave and Jana Jenkins who were sent by the Quail Springs Church of Christ in June 2005 after 11 years in Uganda followed by one-year at Oklahoma Christian University. This non-denominational, English speaking church sits in one of Kigali's most beautiful communities that was built as part of the government's Vision 2020.
Each Sunday the youngest of the children (3-8) are welcomed to the front of the auditorium for a brief lesson or thought from the Bible. Often a children's song is shared together with the audience.
